Abstract

This paper presents a model for teaching an undergraduate social work macro practice course utilizing an experiential learning paradigm. The model provides a campus-based project with social work majors in simultaneous dual roles of students and grassroots leaders, focusing on rape and sexual assault prevention training for college students. This "case-to-cause" framework affords students the opportunity to integrate macro-level theory and practice skills, while conceptualizing the connections between a social problem, social policy, action research, and social action. doi:10.1300/J067v27n01_04
