Abstract

This paper discusses dimensions of power and interculturality in a global world. It considers intercultural education as a ‘technology of power‘ in order to critique some of the models from its conditions in a productive way. The analysis is inspired by notions from Foucault and Bourdieu. It explores some of the more implicit or covert dimensions of power relations inherent in interculturality to provoke some of the assumptions that we take for granted and to question some of the moral certainties.
